Kennady Cosby

General Manager

Kennady Cosby, a lifelong Houstonian and alumna of Rice University, joined Tony’s in February 2012 after Mr. Vallone requested a female bartender. She was told she had very big shoes to fill, and she welcomed the challenge. For more than a decade, she worked behind the bar, often behind the scenes preparing the specialty drinks longtime guests knew and loved.

Working alongside Tony Vallone shaped her understanding of what exceptional hospitality truly means. Remembering a guest’s favorite cocktail, preferred table, or special request is only the beginning. From the valet path to the host desk to the dining room, Kennady believes every moment should make guests feel recognized, welcomed, and genuinely cared for.

As General Manager, she is committed to preserving the traditions that have defined Tony’s while continuing to move the restaurant forward. From dramatic tableside presentations to intimate dinners over house-made pasta and soufflés, she understands that the heart of the experience is not simply what is served, but how each guest feels.

For Kennady, Tony’s brings a sense of community to a city as large as Houston, and she is deeply honored to help carry its legacy into the future.

In her own words:

“To me, working at Tony’s is like being part of Houston history. Knowing that people reference us from all over the world means something, and Tony’s and Houston go hand in hand.”
